The second part of the season commences over the weekend with some mouth-watering clashes. Teams aim to solidify their place in the league standing as the chase for the league title looks to heat up. Five fixtures are lined up for the weekend with one fixture not taking place due to the disbanding of Wadadia Fc that was hit with the financial constraints.

Ztech Sparks Vs Kisumu All Starlets - Imani Daima Stadium 1100 hrs

In the opening fixture of the season, the newly promoted side Kisumu All-Starlets stunned the visitors by defeating them a goal to nil. Ztech Sparks has to fix their leaking defense as they are letting in more goals. This season they have only managed to keep one clean sheet. The visitors come to this match motivated after holding the league leaders to a barren draw. Player to Watch: Beverlyne Adika and Monica Etot.

 

KISPED Queens vs Kenya Police Bullets - Moi Stadium 1300 hrs

Having reclaimed their top spot, the law enforcers will be aiming to cement it when they visit KISPED Queens. In the last encounter between the sides, Beldine Odemba's side managed to put three past the resilient Lavender Abongo. With 22 goals scored, Police Bullets is among the teams with the most goals in the division. 

KISPED Queens will have to put out their spirited fight in an attempt to stop the league defenders. Player to watch: Lavender Abongo and Becky Okwaro

Ulinzi Starlets vs Vihiga Queens - Ruaraka Grounds 1100 hrs

Only two points separate the sides. The military side is 5th on the table having garnered 18 points while their opponents have two more points ahead as they sit third on the log. Providence Khasiala's lone strike was the only difference when the two sides faced each other in the league opener. Vihiga Queens are struggling in front of the goal as their blunt attack has failed to bury the chances. However, they have an outstanding defence as they have conceded only 5 times. The inconsistent Ulinzi Starlets will look to get back to winning ways after being held to a 1-1 draw by lakeside Kisumu All Starlets. Player to watch: Martha Amanyolete and Joyking Lady

 

Kibera Soccer Womens vs Bungoma Queens - Don Bosco Grounds

Top of the table clash! With a good run of results, both teams look to be a force to reckon with. Away at Bungoma National Polytechnic, the slum girls silenced their host In Front of the home fans in a match that ended 2-0. Kibera Kibera-based side has the best defensive record in the league as they have conceded only 3 times. They're yet to concede more than 2 goals in a single match. On the other side, The Queens from Sangalo have the best attacking team led by Catherine Khaemba as they are scoring goals for fun. Player to watch: Catherine Khaemba and Vivian Shiyonzo

 

Bunyore Starlets vs Trinity Starlets - Mumboha Grounds 1300hrs

With just one win, Bunyore Starlets are rooted deep in the league table. The woes continued as their head coach Solomon Masika resigned for unclear reasons. Bunyore Starlets who are fragile at the back have let in 24 goals. In the last encounter between the sides, Trinity Starlets punched Bunyore Starlets 3-0. The visitors will be looking to return to the winning ways as they aim to find their form. Player to watch: Jackline Chesang
