Kibera Soccer Womens 2 -1 Ztech Sparks
The slum girls impressive start of the season continues. They silenced the inconsistent Ztech Sparks to maintain their league position at the top. Despite scoring first through Jane Muli, the visitors failed to cling on to their lead and allowed the host to equalize and get a winner. Maximilla Robii and Yvonne Kavere ensured the league leaders were not beaten at home. Ztech Sparks have to address their defensive approach since they concede a lot. With the results, the university team drops to 7th position with 14 points with a goal difference of negative two.
Bunyore Starlets 2 - 1 Mombasa Olympics
It was a sigh of relief for the Luanda based side. After a long search they finally registered their first league win this season against the league newbies. With the new manager on the touchline, Solomon Masika, Bunyore Starlets ensured that the tie was wrapped up in the first half. The results moves Bunyore Starlets 11th on the log two points above the struggling Wadadia and one point below Mombasa Olympics but still languishes in the relegation zone.
Trinity Starlets 0 - 0 Bungoma Queens
A very intense fixture that was marred with fan controversy at full-time. After the final whistle Bungoma Queens fans invaded the pitch attacking the center referee in what they termed poor officiating after Queen's player was shown a red card. Trinity Starlets have one of the best defensive records in the league, this might be the reason as to why the high scoring side failed to find the back of the net. With the Police Bullets winning, the Queens from Sangalo drops to third on the league log with 17 points as the Trinity Starlets moves 4th ahead of Vihiga Queens with 15 points.
Ulinzi Starlets 5 - 0 Wadadia
Ulinzi Starlets newly appointed coach, Collins Ochieng marked the beginning of his tenure with a style. His side thrashed the struggling Wadadia with no mercy. Joy Kinglady was the star of the match as she netted the brace. Fasila Adhiambo and Diana Shakava were also on the score sheet. The results moved the soldiers 6th on the table with the same points as the Ztech Sparks but with a superior goal difference. On the other side, after loosing the match and with Bunyore Starlets winning, Wadadia drops last on the log with the most number of goal conceded.
Vihiga Queens 0 - 1 Kenya Police Bullets
The four times league winners were stunned at home by league defending champions. Vihiga Queens have failed to win against the resilient Police Bullets in the three meetings the teams have played. It was Emily Moranga who hurt her former employer with an early first half goal. Despite numerous chances created, the host failed to get an equalizer. This season, Boniface Nyamunyamu coached side have been struggling in front of the goal as they are one the sides with the least number of goals scored in the league. Kenya Police Bullets quest for defending league continues as they move second in the league three points below the league leaders. Vihiga Queens dropped 5th on the log with 14 points.
