The FKF women's premier league returns after a short Christmas and New Year break. Match day 11, will be a wrap of the first leg of the season. Before the break, Vihiga Queens closed the gap at the top and are now one point behind the league leaders Kibera Soccer Womens. 6 matches are lined up to be played with Kenya Police Bullets vs Trinity Starlets looking to be an exciting fixture.

Vihiga Queens vs KISPED Queens - 1:00 pm Moi Stadium

Vihiga Queens who are now second on the log just a point below the league leaders will aim to extend their winning ways. The four-time league champions have 6 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses while the league newbies have only managed to get 2 wins, 4 losses and 4 draws. In a competitive match, the sides have only faced each other once. In the 2023 Mozzart Bet Cup, KISPED Queens stunned Vihiga Queens and knocked them out in post-match penalties after a barren draw.

Bungoma Queens vs Bunyore Starlets - 11:00 am Bungoma National Polytechnic

Bunyore Starlet's Solomon Masika will guide his side to face his former employer. In the last two matches played between the teams, Bungoma Queens have won once, the same as the Bunyore Starlets. Wadadia vs Ztech Sparks - 12:00 PM St Peter Boys Mumias 

The struggling Wadadia is deep-rooted at the bottom of the league table. Their leaking defence has conceded the most goals in the league. Defensively, Ztech Sparks are not a good side either as they are one of the teams who let in the most goals in the league. The university side sits 7th on the log with 17 points. Due to financial constraints, Wadadia FC have struggled to pay fees to host their home at Mumias Complex, which has forced them to shift to St Peter Boys Mumias.

Kisumu All Starlets vs Ulinzi Starlets - 1:00 Moi Stadium

The lake-based side will be hosting the determined military side. Ulinzi Starlets who had a slow start to the season seems to have gained momentum with their recent win against Wadadia and Bunyore Starlets. Kisumu Allstarlets, are struggling to match up with the intensity of the league, they have collected 10 points just 4 points above the relegation zone. Defeating their city rivals KISPED in their last match before the break was a much-needed victory as it seemed to be a turning point for them. 

Mombasa Olympics vs Kibera Soccer Womens - 3:00 Makande Primary School

The league leaders will be facing the relegation-threatened side. Kibera Women are riding on a wave of good results, they have accumulated 6 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss. The newbies Mombasa Olympics who are struggling, have 1 win, 4 draws and 5 losses, on the run they have accumulated 7 points which leaves them in the relegation zone.
