Mara Sugar FC vs Shabana FC  | 1500HRS ( Awendo Green Stadium)

Newly promoted Mara Sugar FC will host Shabana FC in what promises to be a high-stakes encounter at Awendo Green Stadium. Mara Sugar has had an impressive start to their first top-tier campaign, winning two, drawing one, and losing one from their four games. They have also shown strength at home, collecting maximum points in their home fixtures.

Shabana, on the other hand, has played only two games this season, both ending in draws. Despite the limited action, Shabana has showcased depth and quality in their squad. Historically, Shabana leads with two wins in their last four meetings, while Mara Sugar has one win and one draw.

Nairobi City Stars vs Sofapaka FC | 1300HRS ( Kenyatta Stadium)

Both teams have had a tough start to the season and will be eager to grab their first win. Nairobi City Stars have played three games, losing two and drawing one, while Sofapaka has suffered three losses and drawn one game from their four matches so far.

In their head-to-head encounters last season, City Stars took the first leg, while the second leg ended in a 1-1 draw. With both sides struggling for form, this match will be an opportunity for redemption. Sofapaka will have to be sharp to avoid another poor result against City Stars. The game will be broadcast live on Azam TV.

Posta Rangers FC vs Gor Mahia FC | 1600HRS ( Kenyatta Stadium)

Defending champions Gor Mahia will take on Posta Rangers in a highly anticipated clash. Gor Mahia is coming off a resounding 4-0 win over Mathare United, while Posta Rangers had their last fixture against Shabana postponed. Posta has played three games so far, winning one, drawing one, and losing one.

Gor Mahia has dominated in recent meetings, winning both legs last season (1-0 and 4-0). In their last six head-to-head encounters, Gor Mahia has five wins, with one draw. Posta Rangers will need to be at their best to challenge the champions. The game will also be broadcast live on Azam TV.

Bandari FC vs Murang’a Seal FC | 1400HRS ( Mombasa Sports Club)

Unbeaten Bandari FC will host Murang’a Seal FC at the Mombasa Sports Club. Bandari has started their season strongly, with two wins and one draw from three matches. Murang’a Seal, on the other hand, has struggled with two losses, one win, and one draw from four matches.

Bandari swept both legs last season with an aggregate score of 5-2, and they will be confident going into this fixture. Murang’a Seal will need to produce a strong performance to avoid falling further down the table. The game will be broadcast live on Azam TV.

KCB FC vs Kakamega Homeboyz | 1500HRS ( SportPesa Arena)

High-flying KCB will take on struggling Kakamega Homeboyz in this Matchweek 5 fixture. KCB has had a dream start to the season, winning three and drawing one from their four matches, with an impressive record of not conceding a single goal so far.

Kakamega Homeboyz, however, are still searching for their first win of the season, with two losses and two draws. In their meetings last season, both teams exchanged wins, but KCB will be favourites given their form. Homeboyz will have to dig deep to avoid extending their winless streak.

Both teams secured wins in Matchweek 4, with Sharks winning 1-0 against Kakamega Homeboyz, while AFC Leopards won 2-1 over Nairobi City Stars. Ulinzi Stars FC vs Kenya Police FC | 1600HRS ( Kinoru Stadium, Meru)

The final game of the weekend sees Ulinzi Stars host Kenya Police FC in what should be a tight contest. Ulinzi Stars have had a poor start, with no wins from three matches, suffering two losses and managing one draw. Kenya Police, playing only their second match of the season, will look to build on their 1-1 draw with Tusker in Matchweek 4.
