“The toughest league in Kenya is back for a new season” as some football fans always claim. FKF National Super League, a second tier league in Kenya, will kick off this weekend on 21st September 2024 for 2024/25 season at various grounds. Coupled with lots of changes and requirements ranging from club licensing, coach badges, new teams on board ,new signings will be a great weekend to watch. A total of 20 teams battling it out for 3 chances to gain promotion to the prestigious FKF Premier League. This weekend 10 matches will go down.
Naivas FC vs MOFA Fc Kenyatta Stadium | Machakos 1300hrs
Last season's second runners up Naivas Fc will be meeting newcomers MOFA Fc for the league opener. Having missed the opportunity of promotion by a whisk last season, the home side will position themselves as serious contenders for promotion early on. Meanwhile MOFA, making their debut in the league, will strive to announce their arrival in the league and prove they are not just newcomers.
APS Bomet FC VS Mombasa United FC Bomet Stadium | Bomet 1500hrs
These two sides are both new in the league, so this will be a battle of first timers. APS, who have been eyeing for promotion for some years, will be out to make their NSL debut memorable given its a home match.
